LeSS Talks: October 10: Experienced Coaches Share Their Learning Journey & Perspective

The great panel of experienced coaches came together to answer the following questions:

  • What is the most memorable part of your coaching journey? Why did you choose to pursue CEC, CTC in the first place? What was your motivation?
    To what extent did CTC (or CEC, respectively) process make you challenge your self-perception, as a coach? Were there significant gaps? Did becoming CTC/ CEC help you in engaging with clients or getting a job as a coach?
  • Does your organization have good understanding and provide adequate support to a coach? How does your organization validate quality and experience of a coach
  • What coaching “levels”/dimensions/focus areas has your organization identified? Do you feel that these tiers are logical and consistent with better practices? To what extent, current organizational design dictates coaches’ sphere of control?
  • What are some of the biggest challenges have you encountered internally, as a coach? Was your engagement status of FTE vs. Consultant a factor here?
  • What are some of the biggest success stories you had internally, as a coach? Was your engagement status fte vs. consultant a factor here?
