Hi, I'm Gene. For more than 25 years, I've been helping organizations build better products, design better organizations, and develop leaders who can thrive in rapidly changing environments. My career began in product management, where I learned firsthand that successful products are created by deeply understanding customers, solving meaningful problems, and aligning business strategy with product thinking. Today, I specialize in organizational design, product-centric operating models, enterprise coaching, and AI-enabled organizational transformation. I help companies leverage modern technologies—including AI—to improve decision-making, accelerate product development, and build organizations that are prepared for the future. While I've worked with many large global enterprises, I'm equally passionate about helping startups and growing companies. In many ways, that's where my experience creates the greatest value. Having spent decades inside large organizations, I've seen the organizational patterns, bureaucracy, and structural mistakes that slow innovation. I help startups avoid adopting those same habits too early, enabling them to remain fast, adaptive, customer-focused, and product-driven as they scale. I believe organizational design is one of the most overlooked competitive advantages. The way a company structures its teams, funding, decision-making, leadership, and product ownership has a direct impact on its ability to innovate and grow. My passion is helping founders and executive teams build product-centric organizations where products—not projects—become the primary unit of planning, investment, accountability, and customer value creation. Beyond product management, I have a lot of experience, as a product and executive coach and mentor, to product leaders, facilitating strategic workshops, and sharing practical knowledge drawn from decades of real-world experience. I believe transformation succeeds when leaders understand not only what to change, but why those changes matter. Ultimately, my mission is to help organizations build great products, make smarter decisions, embrace AI where it creates real value, not just noise and populism, and design adaptive organizations that can innovate, grow, and avoid the costly mistakes that too often limit long-term success.
