Below are various learning opportunities that are available with KSTS Consulting, through training and coaching:

Virtual Training: Certified Large Scale Scrum Basics (CLB)

07/08-10 (12:00 EST)07/15-17 (12:00 EST) 

Certified LeSS Basics (CLB) course is an introduction into the LeSS Framework. It provides, in total, 8-hour overview of the framework and some of its essential concepts.
Each virtual class:  (1) is limited to 10 people , to ensure  deeper learning;  (2 )is stretched over three days (2.5 hours each day, including breaks) to preserve a high degree of energy and participation throughout the session; (3) is conducted, by using various virtual collaboration techniques (zoom, miro, google sheets).   For more information about CLB, including references to past recent virtual classes, please, visit this page.  Training is offered both: privately and publicly.  Feedback from past courses posted on LinkedIn.

Virtual Training: Provisional LeSS Practitioner (pCLP)

09/08-17 (11:00 EST) provisional Certified LeSS Practitioner

Provisional Certified LeSS Practitioner (pCLP)- has a similar content as the in-person Certified LeSS Practitioner and for content, we’d like to refer to that page instead of duplicating it here.A provisional Certified LeSS Pracitioner course will be at least 3-full days of content spread over minimal 5 days and has a maximum class size of 12 participants. The days do not have to be consecutive.

        • Virtual Coaching: Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
By enrolling into CSM Coaching Program, students will be able to fulfill the following 5 main Learning Objectives (see details on Scrum Alliance site) that are required to receive the credential:
  1. Lean, Agile, and Scrum (Scrum Theory, Scrum Events and Artifact Transparency, Sprint and Increment, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Definition of “Done”)
  2. Scrum Master Core Competencies (Facilitation, Coaching)
  3. Service to the Development Team (Scrum Master as Servant-Leader, Value of Development Practices)
  4. Service to the Product Owner
  5. Service to the Organization (Impediment Removal, Coaching the Organization)

Duration of a coaching program is 25 hours, spread over two weeks, 2.5 hours each day.  Classes are limited to 8 people.  Training is offered only internally (company, private group).

Virtual Coaching:  Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)

By enrolling into CSPO Coaching Program, students will be able to fulfill the following 5 main Learning Objectives (see details on Scrum Alliance site) that are required to receive the credential:

  1. Product Owner Core Competencies (Fundamentals of the Product Owner Role, Working with Stakeholders, Working with the Development Team, Product Ownership with Multiple Teams)
  2. Describing Purpose and Strategy (Product Strategy, Product Planning and Forecasting)
  3. Understanding Customers and Users
  4. Validating Product Assumptions
  5. Working with the Product Backlog (Differentiating Outcome and Output, Defining Value, Ordering Items, Creating and Refining Items)

Duration of a coaching program is 25 hours, spread over two weeks, 2.5 hours each day.  Classes are limited to 8 people. Training is offered only internally (company, private group).

In-Person Training: Certified LeSS Practitioner (CLP)

The Certified LeSS Practitioner (3 days) course is an in-depth course covering the LeSS principles, framework and rules, and guides. It provides essential information for adopting and improving LeSS to your product development group. The course contains an overview of LeSS, stories on LeSS adoptions, exercises and extensive LeSS Q&A to ensure we discuss the topics most of interest to the participants.The Certified LeSS Practitioner course is for anyone who is involved in a LeSS effort.  Basic Scrum knowledge is expected and can be achieved by attending a Certified Scrum Master or a Professional Scrum Master course, or thoroughly reading Scrum introduction material such as the Scrum Primer and practicing Scrum.  For more information about CLB please, visit this page.

In-Person Training: LeSS & Learn (LL)

LeSS & Learn – Deepen Knowledge and Share Experiences course.  You are in a LeSS adoption or gradually moving in that direction. You have had your CLP or CLE a while ago already. You are not discouraged yet and want to move on. Share your experience, deepen your knowledge, learn some new LeSS topics that are most relevant now. This event will give you that opportunity; an opportunity to deepen knowledge, explore the well known and less well known LeSS experiments.

This 2-day LeSS & Learn event is an in-depth journey connecting experiences of LeSS practitioners with sound theory and principles by highly skilled Certified LeSS Trainers. The event will be a collective mentoring session where we deepen LeSS knowledge and generate a lasting impact.
